Baby Phat

Designed by Kimora Lee Simmons, the Baby Phat line contains a number of very sleek and stylish clothing, cell phone accessories, shoes, jewelry, and handbags. All of these items feature the Baby Phat cat logo inspired by Bast, an Egyptian cat goddess. The Baby Phat line is a subdivision of Phat Farm, the larger clothing corporation headed by Russell Simmons, Kimora’s ex-husband. In addition to Baby Phat, Simmons also developed Baby Phat Scrubs, a line that sells medical scrubs, lab coats, and other medical clothing items. As the other Baby Phat items, these scrubs feature the company’s traditional black cat logo. The Baby Phat handbags appeal to a number of people looking for very expensive looking bags. Part of this expense comes from the materials Baby Phat uses. Many of their bags feature real animal fur and fur trim, leather, and wool. While some may not want to purchase Baby Phat items because of this, many may find the high quality, real materials all the more reason to purchase a Baby Phat product.
